ABOUT JWR

JWR (James Wegg Review) first began publishing on August 21, 2001. Our wide variety of content includes reviews, previews, interviews and commentaries from the intriguing world of fine arts and film. Our motto "Your global, independent view of fine arts and film" says it all. Recently (January 1, 2009) the primary restructuring of the popular site was completed. The previous one page/one article "static" architecture was replaced with a database-driven (MS SQL) "dynamic" format. The new system offers a much richer experience for our readers with increased search capabilities and easy-to-navigate menus. The official relaunch date is took place on March 25, 2009. Every month more articles, organization listings, individual listings and improved functionality are added.

Because of these improvements, the site now also hosts an International Directory of Fine Arts and Film.

Thousands of records (people, organizations and countries/provinces/states/regions/cities) provide visitors with readily accessible articles and coming events. As the directory grows, planning future trips to concert halls, theatres, galleries and museums will be a breeze!
