Cultural Life in the
Niagara Region

The Niagara region abounds in first-rate performing arts events throughout the year. Two professional orchestras (Niagara Symphony and the Buffalo Philharmonic) provide a wide-range of repertoire, world-class soloists and conductors.

Brock University's Centre for the Arts presents an exciting array of touring companies and soloists:  Dance, Jazz, Theatre—even opera.

Theatre buffs can read about the current and past productions of the Shaw Festival, Theatre in Port and independent productions.

Chamber music aficionados are well served year round.  The Gallery Players of Niagara and their guests offer four concerts annually.  The Niagara International Festival of Chamber Music serves up three weeks of concerts and educational events every summer.

A MUSICAL FEAST - an intriguing series of chamber ensembles at The Kavinoky Theatre (D'Youville College, 322 Porter Avenue, Buffalo).
