Thank you for your interest in JWR: - your independent global view of fine arts and film. We are always looking for quality material and events that fit our mandate to support exceptional, unusual and independent artists, producers and fine arts companies. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the content of currently posted articles before making an article request or submitting any material. 

With far more worthy article opportunites than we could ever hope to cover, we offer the following guidelines:

Film/DVD:

  • Please pitch us (info@jamesweggreview.org) before forwarding a screener.
  • Include a brief synopsis, trailer link (if available), availability/links to (a) full credit list (b) production photos.
  • A line or two about why your project should be of interest to JWR (optional).
  • Currently the backlog is more than six months. To move your project closer to the front of the line, consider taking advantage of our Accessbility Promo Pak. In most cases a two-week turnaround will result from participating in this cost-effective program designed to reach the widest audience possible.

CD/Book:

  • Please pitch us (info@jamesweggreview.org) before forwarding a review copy.
  • Include (a) brief description (b) track list (CDs) (c) any relevant biographical information (d) interview availability (e) links to cover and production photos (if available).
  • A line or two about why your project should be of interest to JWR (optional).
  • Currently the backlog is over one year. To move your project closer to the front of the line, consider purchasing a Basic Listing. In most cases a three-week turnaround will result from participating in this cost-effective program.

Festival/Performance:

Procedure:

  • Once accepted (our target time to reply is seven days) we will endeavour to (a) review submitted material as soon as possible after receipt (b) attend the performance(s) and then post related articles (reviews, interviews; previews may be written for festivals)
  • Once published, links to the articles are welcome; a line or two may be quoted and attributed in future promotional materials. Reprinting the article anywhere else without written permission from JWR is copyright infringement and will be treated as such.
